It seems just yesterday when my son was born. The little creature cradled in my arms has grown to a three yr old now. Last week, he won first prize in two competetions, musical chair and rhyme singing!!! My son was so happy and excited to share his joy that he called all his friends (=3) and favourite relatives (=4). He narrated his achievements in his own language. I never knew he would understand his achievements so early in life. For the first time, I realized what pleasure parents feel when their kids come home with achievements, however small they may be!!!

Trip to Sakleshpur with my friends is going to be most memorable trip for rest of my life. After 7 years of married life, I had never expected luck to smile at me like this. This adventurous trip was with my friends only, no family, no kids. Just me and my friends away from everyday routine for 2 days in nature's lap. We enjoyed lazy river, tarzan swings, rope bridge, trekking, camp fire and what not!! But the one thing that I enjoyed most was the bathing under natural waterfall, it was heavenly!!!

Beginning work again was a good decision, great I must say!!! It gave me wings to fly and reach a new sky where I got identity beyond being a mother and a wife. Winning the award for employee of the quarter was ecstatic, especially when it is for just one employee across the country. To add to all, I started driving my car again, something I was missing since a few years. With my child growing to be more independent than ever, life is looking heavenly so far. Hope all this continues!!!

I am going to make this as my first entry and cherish it for ever. Today my son participated in singing competition and he came first. This was the first time he participated in any competition. He was so excited to come first. I did not believe that he can understand the achievement. He was all excited to get on stage to get the award. I can never forget the moments:)

My holiday trips have always been rejuvenating but I must share about my trip to Coorg. Tiredness due to Six hours journey (we drove) evaporated once we reached the serene Coorg. Natural rough terrain lead us to the resort taking us away from the busy city life. The resort had so much to offer - spa, recreation zone, jogging track, peaceful surroundings, meditation room, balconies opening to nature. The one thing that did it for me was the swimming pool under direct sunlight with tall trees shedding their leaves as if giving you a warm welcome.

This is my first blog but felt like sharing this. It has been an incredible journey since the arrival of my son. Watching him grow is fun and brings peace and joy in life. His developments and milestones keep me busy leaving no time to ponder over trivial things. However, raising a child needs lot of discipline and routine to be followed. Miss the routine one day and next day you will find yourself struggling with the new routine. Children pick up changes quickly and its hard to get them back to older cycle.

I have to tell you this interesting incident I saw this afternoon. I was stuck at a traffic light. It was completely stuck with no movement whatsoever. Typical friday afternoon. All of a sudden i see that a little boy sitting in his car is saying hello to everyone. This was not new. Then i found another little girl sitting in another car waving hand towards that little boy. Then both of them opened their window and threw chocolate at each other. Neither of them were more than 5 years. It was unbelievable. I have only watched such incident in films.
