2 years old does not like to play with other kids

My 2 yrs old daughter likes the company of adults. She likes to sit and listen to elders talk. Or she wants to play with adults. Whenever she sees some other kid she just runs to me and holds my hand.
I find this behavior of her so strange. Mostly kids like the company of other kid so why is it so with my daughter. I do not want to force her but I want her to adjust and play with other kids. Please give some input.

It may be because your daughter is spending all her time in a day with adults only. You try to take her out to some park or play area where she can find kids of her age group.
Once you take her there do not force her to go and play with other kids. Just be normal and let her play. Slowly watching other kids play she will approach then and play with them.
But make sure to have a routine to take your daughter each day to the park for at least a short duration.
Most kids like to have lot of attention from others. The reason why your daughter wants to play with adults maybe because she gets more attention and gets to have her way. While playing with kids of her age she cannot have her way all the time.
