My daughter is 38 months old and still she will not put the sandal in the right feet. She will put the right foot sandal in left foot and similarly. I have been trying hard to teach her the right way to put footwear but still she does the same mistake.
Is it ok for this age children to put on the footwear wrong way?
I have heard its pretty common among children. Don't think its anything to worry
Ha ha my son does the same. It so cute to see him putting small slippers in small feet. I love it.
I don't find it anything to worry about slowly he will learn to do it the right way.
My son has recently started putting on his slippers the righ way. He was also used to putting slippers the wrong way but I never put pressure on him. Many a times he felt uncomfortable walking with the slippers put on the wrong way and he complained. Then I told him how to put it in a way he would be comfortable.
And observing us he started doing it right.
Hey dikoy do not worry. My 5 year old daughter still does it wrong once in a while. Your daughter will do it right soon. Just keep asking her to change feet if she puts her shoe wrong. Don't change it for her. Ask her to do it on her own.
I think one should first tell the kid to put the slippers or shoes properly infront of him/her, I mean the inner circle of both slippers should face each other. Then the feet should be put in front of the shoes and each foot should enter the shoe infront.
