5 years old son does not listen to me at all. He just does whatever he feels like. When I call him he does not even respond. And now I have observed that his behavior is getting worse as he is not listening to his teachers as well.

I am totally frustrated wit this behavior of his what can be done to discipline him please suggest.

If you are very strict and you keep objecting on each and every thing that your child does the child gets in the habit of not listening. So, if you want your child to listen to you you need to start with some specific instructions first for which y ou want a response.

If your child does not respond to those specific instruction keep some short time punishment which is good enough to convey though. e message that it is not acceptable. Don't be too tough. I am sure it will help.

Many a time in child we get to see the reflection of the way we have been responding to him. You as a parent think if you have been responding to your child when he calls you or maybe have you been showing interest when he wants to share something with you.

Make sure you do that and I am sure you will get to see a similar response from your child as well. All the Best.

These things cannot be enforced on a child within days. It is a gradual process and as per your description as of now your child does not listen to you. So, you have to start from scratch first. You have to define what things you want to fix first. Start with a particular thing, maybe first make sure that your child responds when you call him. So, keep a reward for him if he does so everytime you call him. It does not have to be a great thing maybe just a Gems.

This way it will take time you can correct your child slowly.
