My daughter is 13 months old and still she cannot walk properly. Though she walks a few steps after that she just sits down.

I have been trying hard to make her walk. I have even given her walker to help her walk. Please suggest what should I do.

have you seen a doctor?
as you mentioned she starts to walk. so she knows how to walk. possibly she gets tired soon. she may have to take some additional diets and supplements. check with the doctor.
i have come across a small boy who did not feel comfortable walking due to weakness.

Its normal for a 13 months old not to walk independently. As you have said you child does walk a few steps and the sits down. One big reason for this could be that she is not showing interest in walking. This is because she might be finding that by crawling she could reach places faster and by now crawling would be much easier for her.

What you can do in such a situation is to encourage her may be by some reward on walking a particular distance.

One thing that you should avoid is holding hand and making your daughter walk. f she finds you by her side he will tend to go in your arms. At this age toddlers are not interested in anything as much as moms.

Even if she walks she will walk to get to you. Best thing to do is make her stand at a place and walk some distance away from her and let her come to you. Slowly go on increasing the distance.
Hope this helps.
