My son is already 18 months old and he is not walking till now. Recently he has started taking a couple of steps with support. I am really worried if something is wrong as most kids I have come across do start walking by the time they are an year old. Though my son can talk but is not mobile.

My friend's son started walking only when he was 2 years old but he had to go for some exercise. I will suggest to consult a doctor.

I am sure as a parent you might be disturbed with the delayed development. To get some peace it would be a good idea to consult his pediatritian.

consult a doctor. there are many reasons why he is not yet walking. it can be related to physical strength in which case doctor can give you supplementary diet for him. it is also possible that he has not learned the trick of walking. if this is the case then he will have to go to a doctor who will help him practice walking.
in any case please consult a doctor at the earliest.

Buy your baby a walker not the one in which you put the baby but one that he/she holds and pushes. It was helpful for my child.
