do you clearly understand that a 30 months boy speaks.
actually i just returned from wonderful get together we had with some of our school friends. it was all ladies party. no hubbies allowed
one of my very close friend used to tell me that her son speaks fluent. he is little more than 30 months. he was actually speaking a lot. but i was not able to understand most of that. and i thought i would ask you if 30 months boy are understandable. he was really very smart. the way he was playing badminton made me think like a 5 years old boy. so it not about him. i am just trying to understand how 30 months boy usually speak.
i think they are understandable. girls usually are easier to understand. but they will ceratainly not speak like us. some of the pronunciations have that touch, which can sometimes be difficult to understand.
you will have to understand the context of the discussion. that also helps many a times.
30 months boy usually speaks lot. pronunciation will not be like grown up at least until 5 years. so i think that was expected.
and you friend was right. parents get used to their children's way of speaking. that could be the reason why she said fluent.

i think you are right. she was able to understand everything.
My son is more than 4 years old but any new person talking to him cannot understand each and every word that he speaks. I being his mom am definitely able to understand him but its rightly said "Practice makes a man perfect".
And as said by hallobaby if you know the context you will be able to guess the words that you do not understand.
My daughter is 6 years old and sometimes she speaks so fast that I am totally clueless what she is talking about and have to ask her to tell me slowly what she is talking about.
When talking about younger kids definitely their conversations cannot be understood fully if you do not interact with them reglarly.
