My 28 months Ani keeps asking me questions all the time. She will ask about each and everything what it was sometimes I am clueless what to explain to her. And her why I cannot handle. Even when I ask her to do anything she is ready with her why I want her to do so.

I try my best to answer her but many a times its too frustrating. Really wondering how other moms handle these situation.

Every kid has questions for their parents as they have to understand this world their queries need to be answered properly. I am going through a similar phase with my elder daughter. Though she is 4 years old her queries does not seem to end. But I try my best to give a suitable answer as I do not want her to keep her questions to herself this way her curiosity will die.

As an example recently one of my cousin gave birth to twins and we went to see the babies. My daughter asked me how did aunty get two babies and you had only one baby. Everyone out there was laughing, I told her that sometimes God gifts two babies to good people then she says "Was both the babies there in aunty's tummy?" .

ektasharma, everything you have said is very true. But still I am sailing in the same boat my son and sometimes I don't have any answers to his stupid questions and I have to say "Sorry I do not know". And then he starts all his tantrums. This makes me think whether I have been right in answering most of his questions.

Its not about having answers. Sometimes the questions asked by kids are not answerable. And thats where we parents need to be smart and try to give the best possiblr answer. One think is never tell the wrong thing that will not help.
