my daughter does bed wetting on at least 3 days every week.
i tried to take her to bathroom at mid night. that doesn't help. she wets between 4 to 5 on those days.
what can i do?

first of let me tell you that bed wetting at 2 years is not desired. but it is not that uncommon. many children at that age do it.
should only be a big concern if she does it beyond 4 years of age.

girls are usually better off in this case. it is about she being able to control and make right decision when she wants to pee. more of a emotional thing than physical. so you need to speak to her with all the love and give her confidence that she can control and go to bathroom.
she just needs to tell you and then you will quickly help her. She need to trusts herself and you.

My son is also more than 2 yrs old and still wets the bed at night. I have seen some improvement no in summers. But in winters he wets the bed twice also. I did discuss this issue with his pediatrician and he said its nothing very unusual and I should wait for a couple of years and he will get rid of this habit. In the meantime I will keep trying my best to get him out of this habit.

hi ahana,
i am happy to hear that your son has improved and continues to do better.

can you please tell me what has helped in his case?

why don't you take him to bed two times every night. like one at midnight and then at 4-5am. or even 3 times. say at 12am, 4am and then at 6am.

once he stops doing it for few days, he will get used to going to bathroom for toilet and he himself will not feel comfortable when he wets bed.
