My son is 7 years 4 months old and still he has all his milk teeth intact and I do not see any signs of him loosing any of those soon. Is it something to be worried about. Has any of your kids lost their teeth so late.
As far as I know mostly kids start getting their permanent teeth between 5-6 years.
Its nothing to worry about. Many kids do loose their teeth late. Each kid is different and mostly its said that if kids loose their milk teeth late they have better permanent teeth.
Wait till your son is about 9 if till that time you do not see his milk teeth going do consult a dentist.
dimpy, I suggest you talk to a dentist regarding this as late fall of baby teeth might effect the quality of the permanent teeth. Though I agree I am not an expert on this but why take chances?
I don't think it should be a concern. I remember my younger brother lost his first milk teeth only when he was going to be 9 years old.
But as each kids development varies I suggest you to consult a dentist.
