My daughter is 4 months 10 days old and recently she is having loose motion is it possible that she might be getting her teeth. But I feel its early. Moms tell me is it right time for teething?

My son already 5 months and no sign of teeth. I have also heard that average age for teething is 4 to 7 months. So, sushma30 4 months your daughter might be getting her first tooth.

But just loose motion cannot be considered to be a sign for teething. You need to look for swollen gums and your baby's interest in biting on things. This is what I have been told by others Smile

My son got his first teeth only when he was 7 months old. But my daughter got her first tooth when she was 4 months and 20 days old. I was not even prepared for her early teething because of my experience with my son. As far as I remember about 2 weeks before my daughter got her 1st teeth she started putting everything in mouth and trying to bite.
She got her tummy upset only 4-5 days before her 1st tooth erupted.

My daughter got her first teeth when she was 4 months and 3 weeks old. I know its early but she did get it early. I guess then she will loose these teeth early as well Sad

But only loose motion cannot be a sign for teething so do consult the pediatrician if loose motion continues.
