Will the development of an underweight child be normal.

I am blessed with an angle a month back. She was born after 37 weeks of pregnancy and she had some complications at birth so she had to stay in incubator for 2 days.
She is underweight and I am really concerned if this will affect her proper development. And I would like to know hot to take care of her to make her healthy.
First of all Congratulations.
Now to assure you if your child it underweight at birth that does not mean that her development will be affected in any way just that you have to take some extra care of your child.

Do not think a lot just make sure you take full care of your baby and feed him as per doctor's instructions. Make sure to keep your baby away from any kind of infection.
she will catch up fast. don't be worried at all.
please keep a note of the growth over next one year. the only time to be concerned about development will be when you see that she has not be growing from here on.

assuming right now she is under 25percentile then you should target to get her to above 25 percentile. as long as you notice continuous progress you should be happy.
