Is IGCSE same as ICSE?

Can someone pl. guide me.
i am looking for difference between IGCSE and ICSE, if any. i am the principal this morning, who said that both IGCSE and ICSE are same and they are international boards. so i can change to any other country board in case i go abroad.
my husband may have to go abroad in near future. that is why i am asking this.

ICSE: Indian Certificate of Secondary Education
IGCSE: International General Certificate of Secondary Education
This tells you the basic difference between two of them.
if you are looking forward to send your kids abroad for higher education then go for IGCSE. ICSE helps you buiild english language better compare to other indian boards.
IGCSE is an International Board supported by many countries so mainly good for kids who may study abroad in future.
IGCSE is International and with that tag definitely costlier than ICSE which is an Indian board but considered to be more thorough compared to CBSE and also puts more emphasis on English language.
this is how i think of IGCSE. international to more money. i never even look back at the school with IGCSE syllabus.
i am not sure but i thought IGCSE is only 2 years syllabus for final certificate exam. someone with bettter knowledge, please clarify.
Yes IGCSE is an international which provide much good education all around the students in the world and ICSE is an indian board education.
