Now a days many schools introduce kids to the use of computers at an early age. At home also I have seen my friend's kids playing games on the computer at an early age. I do show some pictures to my daughter on my computer but have never allowed her to use it on er own.
Yesterday my husband was suggesting to teach her how to use computers. Am wondering if its right decision to introduce use of computers at 3 years of age.
Its a good idea to expose your child to the use of computers otherwise he may not be comfortable among friends who are using computers. Definitely have a limit to the use of computers at this age. May be a couple of hours in a week.
Computer is not something without which your child will not be able to grow smart why expose them to these things at such an early age.
I did not introduce my son to computers till he was 6 years old and then planned to do the same with my daughter but when she was 4 I had a feel that she was lagging compared to kids of her age. Then immediately I introduced her to computer but still use of computers is limited to 2 hours a week for her.
My experience says its always good to give the basic introduction of computers to your kids.
Computers Education is a must for this generation if you are not getting you are keeping your child away from computers in some way or other you are harming him/her.
My daughter has been playing with my hubby's laptop since she was 2 years old. I do not know how good or bad but she does play with the computer infact she drawa in paintbrush and without that her day does not end.
My 4 years old can spend hours playing games on computer though I am trying to restrict him.
Computer education is a must in this generation.
I have seen kids working on computers at a very early age and in my knowledge its not good to expose kids to computers for long duration at an early age.
Too much of computers at an early age is not good for kids. But some exposure is important for this age.
I introduced my child to computers at the age of 4
