My daughter is 13 months old now and I have tried introducing cow's milk to her many times but she is simply rejecting it. Sometimes if she takes a sip she will not swallow it she simply spits it out.
I need some ideas on how to create interest for cow's milk.
Do not give just cow milk. In the beginning take some portion of cow milk and some portion of breastmilk and offer her.
Don't give whole cow milk. Dilute it a little with water before offering it to your kid.
Try mixing some flavour to the milk. May be some chocolate.
Transition to cow milk was difficult for my daughter. I started by mixing formula with cow milk. Beginning with 90% formula and 10% cow milk. It took almost 6 months to accept 100% cow milk. So, you have got to be patient.
My daughter is also very fussy about drinking cow milk. I mix Complan in her milk but am not sure if you can use complan for a younger kid.
Thanks a lot for all your suggestions. I have started giving cow milk mixed with formula. Its 75% of formula as of now and she is accepting it.
