My son is 2 years old and he does not show any interest in eating roti. I have been trying for almost 6 months now. What can be done to make roti interesting for him. I thought he might not like chewing but I tries mixing the roti with soup still he does not take it. What to do?

Have you tried spreading jam on the roti. This worked for my niece. She loves to eat roti with jam.

Try mixing jaggery in the dough you prepare. This makes the roti sweet and kids love sweet things.

Hey try mixing besan (gram flour) in the roti and also add little salt when you make the roti. Besan will make the roti softer and give it a different taste. Lets see if your child enjoys it.

What I do is blanch spinach or fenugreek leaves and finely chop it and mix in the flour to make a dough and then make a roti/paratha for my kids. They love to eat these.

Thanks a lot for your recipes. I am giving some of them a try. My son did eat a little roti when given with jam. Have also tried corn flour and he seems to like it.
