ok. this is what i have been practicing these days at home. our food habit has been very very bad. and we realized that everyone was falling sick often.
so we took a decision that for next 6 months we will eat healthy. and see if this makes any change on how we keep up ourselves.
just thought i will share this with you all.

great kolkodi,
i am sure that you will be successful.
one of my friend lives in US. when she got pregnant she stopped eating all junk food and even fried indian food. she used to have salad, and other such healthy fruits. after the birth of the baby she continued doing the same. now her daughter is of 3 years. and entire family have changed their eating habit.
to start with she was driving this habit. now they all do it because their daughter likes that type of food.

food habit is entirely dependent on what you get used to.
people liking spicy food are not born with different taste bud or blood. they are like us. they just get used to eating less spicy.
after we had our daughter, we stopped putting chilly in everything that we cooked at home. and now our daughter cannot eat spicy food at all. this is neither like my husband or me.

while saying this is easy. doing is difficult.
but that is me. can try for a few weeks or even months. but to do it forever is difficult.
if it was that easy then all desi living in india would have started eating american food and desi grocery market in US would have gone burst.

thank kalaajkal and cp222 for your words of encouragement.

thank you poornima for your comments,
good that you said that. i am in complete agreement with you. that is why you would notice that i have decided to do it for 6 months. can we do it forever. may be yes? but i am not even thinking about that long. it's a defined timeline. we have to do it for 6 months.
will keep you all updated.

Its a great decision. In our generation most of us have simply inclined towards eating junks. I have got a chance to stay in China, and I saw that Chinese eat a lot of boiled food and they definitely include green vegetables in their diet.
Since, my visit o China I have made it sure that I give my family healthy food and I include lots of greens in our food.
