i think you have got right colour. natural colous are not that expensive weight wise. but you need small pinch of regular color for a bucket of water. however if you are using natural color, you will need little more.
but you are right. we think everything that is herbal and natural is supposed to be very costly. but natural colour is not that costly. all of us can use natural colour.

i did not use natural colors. but i saw many people in my apartment got natural color in big packets. i promise that next year i will also use natural colors.

why do you need to buy them.
i prepare it at our home.
yellow colour: turmeric powder
red colour: from beetroot
orange colour: from carrot
green colour: from spinach

very simple and really fun to play with. not worried at all about colour getting into eyes. i learn the trick from my kid's school. they use such colours and asked us to send all children with one of these colours.

I did not put any effort in preparing colors at home just went ahead and bought some from a friend who stays nearby.

I also bought the so called natural colors but I wonder how natural it was? ekta's idea is good it never clicked for me next time will give a try.
