How often do you use shampoo for your babies hair?

My baby is just one month old and am very much confused for a lot of things. I use baby shampoo to clean my baby's hair. Sometimes I apply shampoo twice in a week. Recently one of my aunt visited us and pointed out that I should not use shampoo for my baby's hair so frequently.
Really wondering how often other moms use shampoo for their babies?
I avoided using shampoo and soap as much as possible till my son was a year old. Mostly I used shampoo once in a month not more than that.
I remember using Johnson's baby shampoo once in a week. I could not find any better ways to keep her hair clean.
if you use good shampoo like Johnson & Johnson then you should not be that worried. you can use it more frequently.

i know that J&J have reputation. but i still do not trust any of them when it comes to health. once a week is more than enough.
I agree with kokila you do not need to shampoo a baby;s hair more than once a week.
I have been using shampoo for my child not more than once a month. Sometimes when his hair gets really dirty then I do use shampoo.
