My 4 years old daughter is not well and she will be at home for somedays. Please suggest some interesting games that I can play with her sitting at home. I have observed that she is getting very bored and all the time she has been telling that she wants to go to school to play with her friends. I want to keep her entertained. Waiting for your suggestions.

What comes to mind immediately is Snake & Ladder. Doesn't it sound the same for all of us. I am sure everyone out here might have play this game a lot with their parents.

Get her some puzzles suitable for her age. You can take turns with her and solve them. I have seen lots of puzzles in the market suitable for this age.

My daughter loves to play with clay and make something out of it. If your daughter loves this kind of thing then you can try getting some clay and making something out and ask you daughter also to make something.

My daughter loves to play with things made with paper. Remember the boats and aeroplanes we made out of paper when we were kids. You can do something similar with your kid. Make paper boats and sail in bathtub. Make aeroplane and fly it. And there are many other similar crafts that can be made easily with papers.

A game that my son loves to play indoors with me is hiding of object. We take 2 objects and taking turns to hide the object and the other has to find it. Now while your son is trying to find the object you (who has hidden the object) can keep giving some clues like you can have two words like dark and bright. If the person is getting near to the place where the object is hidden you can say "getting brighter". Similarly if he is far you can say "Very dark".

you can use your daughter's toys and set up a zoo or a home and play by mimicking some activities.

give them all that you thought are junk. they will make a game out of that. that is the best form of learning for them. they think the way they want to not the way we want to by giving them a toy which makes certain sound or moves in certain way.

excuse me for the post. am not in a good mood Smile but i believe and do what i wrote above.
