My daughter will be 1 year old next month. I am planning to have a big party for her. What all should I do for the party. I want to do so much but am confused. Looking for some unique ideas from moms out here.

Since its a girl you can plan to have a Barbie theme with pink around. We had done the same for our niece and she was really happy. Have a Barbie like pink color dress also for your doll.

Why don't you do something what your baby likes. Maybe you can have something around teddy. As I feel this age kids love soft toys. Have her cake of teddy and get some masks for all the kids. Arrange some games for kids like passing the parcel. Have kids friendly music on. And if possible have a dance floor for kids.

Have families with kids in the party as kids love the company of kids rather than adults.

Make sure you have party on time. Do not make it too late otherwise you child will be sleepy and she will be irritated.

3 months and my son will also be an year old. It will be great if you share how you did celebrate your daughter's B'Day. My suggestions would be to have many balloons as kids love balloons.

Have a party at home for a small group of family and friends and do bake a cake on your own for your princess. Have a special touch for your darling. Am sure this will have a smile on your face as well as your baby's face.

Recently I celebrated m son's first B'day. I arranged everything at home and had homemade food with some thing ordered from nearby bakery. I had the party at the evening time for just family and friends. Mostly kids were around and I had masks for kids along with some music and a small dance floor for kids.
I think it was fun for everyone.

Hey when is your daughter's B'day. I celebrated my son's 1st B'day last month. It was a family affair at home with homemade cake and dinner. I think till my child knows what exactly is a b'day celebration its better to keep it a family thing. As at this age a child will not have fun with noise and crowd.
Its my opinion but am sure many parents wants it to be a grand affair.
