My son's feet smells bad at the end of the day. I keep changing his school socks daily and I do wash his shoes weekly. I also dry his leather shoes weekly still his feet smells a lot. What can be done to get rid of this odor?

Mostly there is smell in the feet sue to sweating. Most of the time a child's feet is wrapped and closed in a shoe so there is more sweating. The best you can do is wash your child's foot each time when he takes out his shoe like when he comes home from school and after play. Also try to keep his foot open after some intervals when possible.

Every morning before your child goes to school. Wash his feet properly dry it and then put some baby powder. Then only put on his shoes. Try to do this every time you put on shoes for your child.

My son had similar problem and my aunt suggested to use vinegar. This is what you can try doing.

Add 1/4 cup of vinegar to 1/2 bucket water and then ask your child to put his feet in it for 15 mins then wash his feet with soap and water and dry properly before putting on sock/shoes. Practice this daily for about a month.

Soak your child's feet in warm tea water for 10-15 minutes for a week by this time smell should be gone. Once its gone you can repeat this at an interval of about a month. This has been helpful for my daughter.

Apply neosprin to your foot for a week before you go to sleep. The stinky smell will be gone forever.
