My daughter is 4 months old and these days she cries every now and then. She is also putting her fingers in the mouth. A friend suggested to give her a pacifier. Is it a good idea and if yes what type of pacifier will be good.

I like pigeon's pacifier. this is a japanese company. so the quality will be good. babies take this in their mouth. so it is good to be buy from a known brand.
i prefer not to buy pacifiers that has liquid filled in it. what if it bursts and goes into baby's mouth. it will harm in some way for sure.

by the way i forgot to add that you can also go to lifestyle. they have good collection of pacifiers. i think they have one of their own brand called junior or something like that.

Use a pacifier which does not have angled pacifier. Angled pacifier leads to poor latching for breastfeeding babies so avoid such a pacifier. Always try and find a round pacifier.

Thanks a lot ladies for your suggestions I also compared and bought Pegion pacifier and I did buy angled one. Though its costly compared to some Indian brands.
