How useful A stroller will be?

My daughter is 15 months old and due to some problems its not possible for me to carry her around in my lap. She walks but she cannot walk at a stretch for long distance. I live alone with my hubby so I do have to go out frequently. I am living in Bangalore as of now. Wondering if a stroller will be useful. Need some experienced inputs before I buy one.

you can take her to mall and walk her in stroller. but if you go to bigger malls, many of them already have a stroller, which you can use and return after that. but if you are going to go to smaller shops or streets then it may not be useful.
buy a lighter stroller. not the heavier ones. after 15 months anyway she can sit and enjoy the view around her. she would prefer watching around than lying.
If you are really going to use it for long then you can plan to buy a sitting stroller. But if it is a short term need better find some part time help who can help you to carry your baby around and can provide some help at home as well.

I feel that you really need some help and if you do go out often and if the roads on which go are wide and not bumpy you should get one.
Thanks friends. Your suggestions makes me determined to buy a stroller. Now I need some more help in choosing which stroller should I buy. Any suggestions are most welcome.
I have bought Graco for Pratik and I find it useful and sturdy. But since your child is elder you may look for a sitting stroller.
