i do not have any experience with fertility treatment. but i assume the treatment will depend on specific problem.
So it is difficult to answer which is the best of all. But I am willing to listen people who are more aware of such treatment.

My sister had some issues in conceiving she consulted a gynecologist. She had to go for fertility treatment. She took Clomid and she was able to conceive in 3 cycles. Many a times if this does not work doctors suggest IVF. I do not know much about it.

I have some problem with my ovulation, and I am not ovulating each cycle so have not been able to conceive. My gynecologist has put me on clomiphene. She has told me that if this does not work for a few cycle she will try some hormone injections.

As far as I know clomiphene is the 1st step if you are having some ovulating problem or if the problem is not known and one is not able to conceive.

Hey please do pray for me that clomiphene works as further steps are much more complicated.

globelhina,
I don't think you should lose heart with 6 mnths of trying. Beforethinking of complex possibilities, it is important for you to know if you are ovulating properly.
