What could be the factors for infertility in men?

I have been trying to have a baby since last year but no success. I myself have gone through all the tests and have found no problems at all. I am really concerned if my hubby is having some problems.
I have been talking to him to get tests done. But to convince him properly I need to know what exactly could be the things that can cause infertility in men.
Please share your knowledge on this.

You definitely need to convince your hubby to get the necessary tests done. The most common cause of male infertility is low sperm count or in extreme cases when no sperm is produced. There can be a number of causes for low sperm count, but I think these are curable.

As mentioned by toppy definitely sperms count can be one of the factors of infertility in men, which could be caused by obstruction at various points blocking sperms from coming out or infections.
Another cause for infertility could be abnormal shape of sperm which could affect its motility.
There are many causes of low sperm count or poor sperm quality; namely:
# cigarette smokig
# alcohol
# drugs
# radiation
# health problems
# pollution
# poor/ unbalanced diet
# medicines
# age
The good news is that many a time the low sperm count is a temporary phenomenon which might be due to one of the above mentioned reasons.
