based on my last checkup i am anemic. this is common but it gets ok after i improve my diet.
will it affect my ovulation? or it is only important after i am pregnant.

i think you mean ovulation.
!! COULD YOU PLEASE CHANGE THE TITLE!!

i believe it should not have effect on ovulation. however you loose lots of iron during menstruation. therefore it is important that you are not anaemic when you are about to get pregnant or during pregnancy. need for iron goes on increasing. so your iron take through natural food or supplements, should also increase.

i don't think anemia will have any impact on ovulation. but if you are thinking of having a baby then the first thing you have to do is to ensure that you are good on iron.
and this is not something to sweat about. getting iron supplement is very common during pregnancy.
consult a doctor for the right supplement.
green vegetables will also get you iron. these iron diets are better. but they may not the effect of supplement, which you may require during anemic situation.

Anemia does not effect ovulation. I did get pregnant though I was anemic but you have to take care that you take proper iron rich food and iron supplements before you plan for baby and you should know that iron is very very important before you conceive and during pregnancy

Medically it may not effect ovulation but from my understanding if you are anemic it might have some effect on your entire system. Maybe the amount and quality of egg being produced by your ovaries get affected.
