I am trying to have a baby. Since I have some problems I am going through some treatment and am on clomiphene now. I would like to know how can I best prepare myself for my pregnancy. All suggestions are welcome.
Eat well and Exercise to keep you body fit.
The most important thing you have to do is adjust your diet to healthy and balanced one. Your diet must have vegetables, green leafy vegetables (for folic acid), fresh fruits and juices, cereals, milk & milk products (for calcium) and egg and meat (if non veg).
In addition to eating you should keep your body fit, for this you need to exercise and be active.
In addition to what suggest my other friends here are few things:
Put a full stop to smoking an alcohol.
If possible stop taking drinks that has caffeine or at least reduce the amount you take.
Practice Yoga and meditation, it keeps you healthy.
Besides keeping physically fit, its important to keep yourself mentally fit. Do not take undue tension because once you get pregnant any kind of mental strain might harm your kid.
If you are not doing so, do start drinking lots of water atleast 10 glasses a day. Its very important to keep yourself hydrated.
Do reduced the amount of junk food that you are having which I am sure these days ladies do.
Thanks ladies for your useful suggestions. Will try to follow them. Have started exercise and trying to have a healthy balanced diet. Would like to know if I should take any folic acid supplement.
