Hi all,

I am a new member of this site. And I am impressed with the discussions here. I am a mom of 7 yrs old and am 35 years old. Now me and my hubby want to want another baby. I am wondering if biologically this is right.

Mostly I have heard that pregnancy after 35 is difficult and has complications. But am wondering if second pregnancy will also be a problem.

According to my knowledge problems are there in first pregnancy not in the second. But definitely one thing is there fertility does reduce after the age of 35.

It may take 8-12 months for you to conceive after 35. And as your age increases chances of some genetic defects in the baby increases.

There should not be lots of complications in 2nd pregnancy just you should make sure that you keep yourself healthy and exercise well.

In my knowledge second pregnancy after 35 years of age should not be a issue as long you do not have any medical issues and you eat and exercise well during your pregnancy.

Getting pregnant can be a little difficult with the fertility level decreasing with age.

More chances of genetic diseases in the baby like Down's syndrome etc. Make sure you get all the appropriate tests done.

Sometimes it seems for pregnant women that their belly is growing before their eyes, or, on the contrary, it's almost unnoticeable.
