I am 35 years old and am planning for a baby. Till now I was busy with my career and never had time to think about a baby. Now I realise that its imp to have a child. Is it too late?
Have heard that there could be lot of complications with pregnancy after 35 years of age. Is it totally impossible to have a normal pregnancy or can I give it a try.
Hey himanikim, as far as I am aware if you are healthy and keep going on with healthy life you can try to have a baby. Definitely at your age it gets difficult to conceive and many a time lot of precautions are needed once you get pregnant. There are chances of abnormality in the baby. But at the end there are chances that everything turns out to be normal.
So, go ahead and give it your best and have your baby.
All the Best.
After 35 years of age mostly the fertility of a woman decreases so it might take atleast 6 to 12 months to get pregnant. After one gets pregnant the chances of having a baby with some genetic disorder like Down's Syndrome increases many times.
But with the developed medical system there are lot of chances of having a fully normal baby.
