What are a few pros of pregnancy after the age of 35.

I am trying to have a baby at the age of 36. Mostly I have heard that its risky for both mom and baby after the age of 35. But these days I have been hearing about lots of women having babies in their late 30's or early 40s and the babies are perfectly normal.
So, why is there so much discussion about the negative side of pregnancy after 35. I would like to know from you the few good things about having baby after 35.
Financial stability and emotional strength.
From my experience I can tell you with age one gets to be more patient/ I have seen my patient being much better with my youngest kid compared to when I had the first one. At an early age though one may be medically fir but is not prepared for a baby mentally and emotionally which is very imp.
I think if one has her first baby at a late stage she may have a lot of enthusiasm to bring up the baby and this way she may take better care of her baby.
