Are you able to squeeze time for your hobbies?

Now that both my kids are going to be 8 and 5 yrs I am thinking if I could find sometime for my painting which I love to do. Till now since my kids were young I have been doing some freelancing off and on.
But now I feel I do need to spend sometime with myself wondering if I will be able to do that. Have you been able to do so?
Though I am not a mom yet but from my thinking I can tell you that only if you keep yourself happy you can raise a happy family. And for you to be happy you should find time for yourself when you can do something which you love to do or something which will give you happiness.
My daughter is just an year old but I have started finding some time for myself. I have kept help for households and when my daughter has her nap that time I spend in reading some novels and also I love writing so whenever I get a thought I make it sure I scribble it.
This makes me feel that apart from my family I am also a human being who exists.

Now that my kids are 9 and 5 I do find a couple of hours for myself when they are in school. I have started a small business. I do stitching so I stitch things for some friends and neighbors as per their specifications.
I love being with kids. And working towards the well being of our next generation. Now that my son is going to playschool I have also started going to the same playschool to take care of the children their. This way I am able to do something I love and be with my son as well.
