I also experienced this kind of pain after having my second baby. But after consulting a doctor I was told that when breast feeding this pain can occur for sometime.

Its common to get some cramps while breast feeding as the uterus shrinks back to its normal size.

I remember I got cramps very similar to periods and the periods did not come. So, I visited doctor, she told me that when a woman breastfeed the brain produces a hormone which helps the uterus to contract. Which in turn causes these cramps.

I did get such pains during couple of months after delivery. And everyone said it was normal. Since it was extreme for me sometimes I did take come pain killers.
Once my uterus was back to normal size the cramps were gone.

This is common among breast feeding moms. I was getting similar pains when I was breastfeeding my daughter after delivery. My doctor told me that breastfeeding moms do get such cramps as breastfeeding produces some hormone which contracts the uterus. This is very normal for the uterus to come back to the regular size.
