Please tell me about diets that we can prepare at home without much effort and is good for both baby and mother.
I don't like outside food. Even in normal course we prefer to eat as much as possible home food unless we go out to restaurant to have some fun time.
i have 3 months baby girl. so it is important to take care of her health.
thank you

I am sure as your baby is just 3 months old you should be breast feeding. At this time you need food that provides lots of protein, iron and calcium. Eat whole grains, cereals, fresh fruits and vegetables. You can eat upma, poha with vegetables put in abundance. Eat dryfruits as well.

I always recommend ragi to everyone. It is very healthy and you can eat it in variety of ways. staple food, drink, sweets, cookies, etc.
i especially like one drink made with coconut and ragi. I had it at one of my friend's place in Bangalore.

Dairy products like milk, curd & cheese are supposed to be very good. Egg is another important thing that should have a place in your daily diet as egg yolk is a source of Vitamin D which keeps mom's bone strong & helps in the growth of babies bones.

Eat iron rich food like green vegetables and whole grains bread as it is very important to maintain the hemoglobin level. Many get anemic during pregnancy which can be harmful for both mom and baby.
