This is my 10th week of pregnancy. And I have been having some bleeding off and on. I have got tests done and the doctor says everything is fine but I should take precautions. I am really scared as I have heard that many miscarriages occur in the first trimester. Am wondering if this is a common issue.
Spotting or little flow should not be a matter of concern. What you should be concerned about is a flow like periods. If you are having a flow like period you need to discuss it with your doctor and get proper tests done.
Even if spotting I would suggest totally go by what your doctor says. Its very important as we as layman cannot tell you much apart from what happened with us or with our near and dear ones. But every woman's pregnancy is different and that a doctor can only tell.
Good that you have got the tests done. Now make sure that you keep the doctor updated and as long as lil bleeding/spotting is concerned about 30% of the pregnant woman go through this. And among them many do have baby normally.
I also had some spotting in the 8th week. On consulting the doctor I came to know that in the first trimester of pregnancy some women do have light bleeding or spottings. But some of them do loose their baby in this course so its always advisable to stay in touch wit the gynae.
rekha its the 9th week of pregnancy for me so seems we 2 will have our babies almost at the same time. Good to find you here.
It is definitely something to be concerned about and many times such cases does lead to abortion.
