Yesterday night I had 4 vomits within 2 hours. I am in the 16th week of my pregnancy and I did not have any nausea or vomiting in the 1st trimester. Now what could be the cause for these vomiting. I am really concerned. Though I am fine as of now but could this be of some harm to my baby. Please share your views and experience.

Many ladies do get nausea and vomiting in the second trimester as well so I do not think it is something serious. May be some stomach bug but it would a good idea to consult your doctor to know the well being of the baby.

A few vomits should not be a concern. If your vomiting does not stop for almost a day then you should definitely be concerned. But yes it is always good to be careful about what you eat. Many times spicy and oily food can definitely effect you in some way and lead to vomits.
I did get vomit in second trimester of my pregnancy when one fine day I ate lots of chat and golgappa. And after that doctor strictly asked me to be careful not to eat a lot in one go.

I remember during my pregnancy I had 5-6 vomits one after another and it was winter. Later doctor told me that it was because of cold and which was because I went around for hours in the cold weather sopping and eating ice cream as well Smile

Did you get in touch with your doctor. Whatever may be the reason never .ignore these and do get your doctor's suggestion for that

I had morning sickness through my pregnancy so I think nausea anytime during pregnancy should not be a big concern.

Stomach bug could be the culprit.
