Is it safe to take any kind of painkillers such as aspirin during pregnancy? Yesterday, i had very bad body ache but I avoided that. That made me think whether i can take an occasional aspirin if the pain gets unbearable.

Its better to avoid aspirin during pregnancy. My doctor specified this to me. Aspirin may cause problem to both mom and baby. Though one dose of it may not cause any problem but why to take the risk.
There are some pain killer which can be taken during pregnancy if really required but its always better to consult the doctor before taking any such medicine.

Its the same for me from the very beginning of my pregnancy my doctor strictly told me not to take any medicines which she has not advised. In the very beginning she prescribed me some normal medicines which I might need.
