How did it feel in the last couple of week in your pregnancy?

I have couple of weeks left for my Due Date. Every minute there is an uncertainty in the air as if my baby may arrive any time. I did have painful contractions last night and felt as if it will turn into labor. It has been emotionally torturing for me and there is some inner joy of waiting for baby.
This strange mixed feeling is getting to too much for me to handle. I am wondering other moms might have felt in these last couple of weeks.

The wait delivery was really terrible. With the increased weight it became difficult for me in my day to day activity. And every day was like ages were passing and I was desperate to deliver my baby. But yes once your baby arrives once your baby arrives.
The last few weeks of my pregnancy I can describe with these few words - Huge, Tired, Moody and Anxious. To describe them I found it difficult to move around the huge size of my body. And also used to feel tired and felt like resting off and on. Anxiousness did not let my mind be at peace even for few minutes.
It seemed like a never ending wait but when the day came I could not stop smiling inspite of the pains.
I remember the last month of my pregnancy I was irritated with the mixed feelings of excitement and apprehension and physically felt tired and immobile due to the bulky body. Life seemed to be moving at a slow pace. Once my baby arrived life started moving so fast that I had no time to think what was going on in my mind.
The wait becomes terrible if the baby is overdue which happened when I was expecting my second child.
I am still in my 2nd trimester of pregnancy and I am just looking forward to the arrival of my baby. Each day seems to be so long. Reading this thread I am really concerned about last few weeks as to how ill it go.
