how many of you are eager to know the sex of your baby to be born...

I am a mom to be in the early stages of pregnancy. With this new phase in my life I keep getting lots of thoughts.

Since with the advanced tecohnologies we can know the sex of our baby to be born through Ultrasound. I am really curious to know what opinions do you have on this about knowing the sex before birth. Even though its banned in India to find the sex before birth, how many of us mom to be will be eager to know the sex. As far as I know in countries outside most of the people opt the sex.

I am waiting eargerly for the replies.

I already have my son but when I was pregnant if given an option I think I would have liked to know the sex of my baby.

I have my 2 cute and darling kids and I was never interested in knowing the gender. Now also if you ask there is a special happiness in knowing your baby when he/she comes to this world rather then trying to find things out from before.

I somehow always had the feeling that I will be gifted with a daughter, but it would have been equally good if I had a son but I never wanted to conduct any test to know my child's gender before birth.

As such I am not interested in knowing the sex of my baby to be. But I think if I had the freedom as in other countries I would not have been able to keep myself from not knowing when some was offering me the same.

I personally feel there is nothing wrg in wanting to know the sex of ur kid before birth. In India its banned 'coz of the several instances of female infanticide. Since, such things do not happen in many other nations, its a norm to know ur child's gender before birth.

Its great to know that many of us don't want to know the sex I have observed that in new generation Indians thoughts have improved and people are putting a stop to gender differentiation among kids.

I am also not interested in knowing the sex of my baby to be Smile.

Whats the harm in knowing the sex of your baby. Am not a person who loves surprises. So, given an option I will like to know the sex of my baby.
