Recently there was a guest at our place who warned me against using microwave as I am pregnant. I did sound strange to me. But still I do not want to take any chance so would like to know if any of you have such info.
I don't think that there should be any harm to the fetus or the mom to be. I have been using microwave oven each day till now. Also as far as I know the oven is built in such a way that such rays are sealed from all sides.
There is no harm in using the microwave oven. One thing should be taken care of is that you don't use a damaged oven or if there is any leakage from the oven then also avoid using it.
I have come across studies which proves that we should not use microwave for cooking at all. Because it destroys the nutrients in our food and also not good for health.
Apart from that I am not aware if it has any specific harm during pregnancy.
It should not be a problem. Its totally harmless.
I am using and have been using microwave since I have been pregnant. I did not have to go through any adverse situation. Neither have I heard any such thing from anyone.
