This is my 40th week and still there are no signs of labor. Am just wondering till which week its safe to wait for natural labor. My doctor has asked me to wait till 41st week. Will it be safe?
As far as my experience is concerned doctors look into many factors before deciding how long to wait to induce labor. In my case my doctor induced labor just 3 days after due date as according to the doctor after that baby would have become to big for normal delivery.
My doctor waited for 10 days beyond the due date then he opted for induced labor. I really got worried that time but in the end had a vaginal delivery and gave birth to my son who is 3 months old now

I can still remember those hours. I was in labor for about 5 hours and that was really something I never experienced before that. But I can tell you from my experience that once the baby arrives have your baby at pain is nothing you will forget everything once you have your baby in your lap.

From my knowledge mostly doctors wait till 41 weeks and sometimes 42 also.

From what I know 41 weeks that is one week after the due date.
Definitely it varies from person to person.

same here. doctor said that waiting beyond 42nd week is not good for either the baby or mother.
