I am expecting and have been knowing that almonds are good for pregnancy. During my first pregnancy my mil used to be very adamant about me eating almond daily. But I somehow do not like almond. I am wondering what are the benefits of almond for a pregnant woman. This will help me decide whether to eat almond or not.
Almonds are healthy always and in pregnancy when you are supposed to have healthy food I am sure it has all the benefits.
Almond contains folic acid which is essential for the brain development in fetus. Thus, helps reduce birth defects in newborns.
Almonds does contain many nutrients and soaking it overnight makes it easily digestible. I am also eating Soaked Almond every morning. That is the first thing I have in the morning. pepre. do have almonds every day if you are not allergic to nuts.
Soaked Almonds are very healthy and rich in Vitamin E and Manganese. It does have all the benefits but do not soak it for longer time.
