Right food for the first trimester

I am going to be a mom and like most other moms-to-be I have a lot of questions and doubts in my mind. Let me start with the most basic. What are the nutrients that I need in excess in the first trimester of pregnancy?

During the first trimester Folic Acid, Iron and Zinc and Calcium. Folic Acid is required for creation of baby's nervous system. Something thatare rich in folic acid are fruit, green vegetables, orange juice, lentils, peas and rice.
A pregnant women should take a daily 400 microgram supplement of folic acid a day for two three months into their pregnancy.

Iron rich food includes are green vegetables such as broccoli and spinach, strawberries.

Drink lots of fluid.
Have at least 8-10 glasses of water in a day.

Chickpeas and Milk products which includes Soymilk is good for the first trimester.

Have a balanced diet and make sure that you keep eating at short intervals.
