GroupB streptococcus screening done between 35-37 weeks. This test is done to detect GropB strep bacteria, vaginal & rectal swabs are taken for test. If this bacteria is present it could cause life threatening infection to the newborn.
Fetal Movement Count test is done to monitor fetal health. This counting test can be done at home and should be done starting 28th week of pregnancy. Your doctor will guide you how to do the counting.

If I remember right my doctor used to check the heart beat of the fetus as well in every visit during the last couple of months.
