6 Bread slices
3 Medium size potatoes
1 medium size Onion (chopped)
2 Green chillies (chopped)
1/2 tsp cumin powder
1/2 tsp coriander powder
1" ginger (crushed)
2-3 pods garlic (crushed)
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tbsp chat masala.
salt to taste
Oil for frying
Boil the potatoes in a pressure cooker and mash it.
Remove the sides of the bread slices and keep aside.
Heat oil in a pan and add the crushed ginger and garlic.
When it turns brown add chopped onions and green chillies, cook till its tender.
Now add all the masalas and mashed potatoes and lemon juice.
Mix well and cook for 1-2 mins.
Let the filling mix cool.
Now take one bread slice and dip it in water.
Remove excess water by pressing between palm.
Put 1 tbsp of filling in the middle of the bread slice and roll the bread. Seal properly at the edges. Make rolls of
all the bread slices.
Heat oil in a pan and fry till golden brown.
sprinkle a pinch of chat masala on each roll.
Serve hot with ketchup/chutney.
