Once the hare was bragging about his speed and he made fun of the tortoise who, was slow. The tortoise felt bad and challenged the hare for a race. The hare agreed for the race.

The destination was fixed and the race started. Soon the hare was far ahead and he stopped to turn a see the tortoise. The tortoise was nowhere in sight. The hare laughed and decided to take a nap. Soon he was fast asleep.

Meanwhile the tortoise kept walking steadily. In sometime he crossed the sleeping hare still he kept walking. And when the hare woke up from sleep he looked back and he was happy to see no signs of the tortoise.

He decided to run and finish the race. When he ran and reached the finish point he was surprised to see the tortoise there who had won the race.
