The Wolf and the Crane

As the wolf was eating his prey one day a bone got stuck in his throat. He had severe pain and he howled in pain. The wolf offered to give anything in reward to the one who removes the bone.

At last seeing the wolf in pain a crane agreed to help him. The crane asked the wolf to open his jaws and he put his long neck in wolf’s throat and removed the bone.
The wolf was relieved then the crane said “Kindly give me my reward that you promised.” The wolf laughed and said “You put your neck inside my mouth and I did not bite you consider that your reward.”
